Latest iteration of the electrical system project. Adding a couple of interlocks for the awning and the retractable solar panels. Also adding dash switches, 12VDC and usb sockets. At some point I'll do a harness drawing with breakouts and length's.

Build & Equipment List

Made templates of the sides and roof. There's roadkill sound deadening with minimum 2 layers of thinsulate The panels are marine grade 3/8" plywood covered with thatching or bamboo. Panels are attached to oak 1" X 2" strips counterbored for 1/2"rubber isolators which are attached to the frame with 6mm nutcerts. Cabinets are 2" X 2"

Electrical

So rev B has the dual battery banks and 1.2 Kw of solar. 4 panels and 2 MPPT controllers. With everything running I use about 25% of one bank overnight.

Since I'm now in Portugal I have replaced the inverter with a 220 v 50 Hz one as well as all the receptacles. Working on rev D schematic.

Security

Security System Schematic

Here's the security system schematic that include a raspberry PI 5, 2 cameras, a network switch, a wifi router all connected to a starlink mini. When active I get emails on my phone and through a VNC I can watch the cameras near realtime

Kitchen Schematic

Here's the kitchen schematic. It consists of a 10 gal stainless steel jerry can for freash water, a foot pump and a 5 gal gray water tank. I'm still working on the shower schematic.
